Discover Camp, Hawthorne
Discover Camp is a safe, fun environment where children can test new classes and have an enjoyable experience while learning something new or discovering a new hobby. They foster the love of hands-on science and technology. Courses include rocketry, aerodynamics and flight, lego robotics, woodworking, chess, jewelry and metal smithing. Summer Institute for the Gifted, Purchase & Bronxville
Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) offers two day programs for students ages 4-12 in Westchester. The Manhattanville College campus in Purchase runs July 2-July 20, and the program hosted at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville runs July 2-July 20. The SIG Day Program provides instruction in over 30 courses during its regular academic schedule and engages students in recreational activities every day. Courses for academically gifted students cover humanities, mathematics and sciences, and ones that are multi-disciplinary. Every student selects three courses and has a recreational period. Challenge Camp 2012, Eastchester
Celebrating our 32nd summer dedicated to providing programs designed to stimulate imagination and creativity. American Camping Association accredited, Challenge Camp is a unique learning opportunity for gifted and talented students ages 4-15. Challenge provides day students with over 45 exciting morning academic courses and 30 afternoon enrichment classes and sports clinics.
